Congratulations to our Super Citizen for the 3rd grading period, Jacob H.! Jacob is an outstanding student and citizen. He has great work habits and is always willing to help his classmates and teacher. Congratulations also to our Citizen of the Month, Sara K.! Sara is a great example of the character trait of focus for the Month of April, self-control. Keep up the great work Jacob and Sara!
Thank you to the parents who came with us on our field trip to the Virginia Aquarium last week! Thank you Mrs. Herbst, Miss Olds, and Mrs. Schlessleman! We all had a great time!
Summer School forms were sent with certain students on Friday, April 25th. Please sign and return those forms as soon as possible.
Field Day T-shirts Each student needs to bring in a plain white T-shirt to be tie-dyed for Field Day. Please send in a T-shirt with your child's name in it by Monday, April 19. If anyone is willing to dye the shirts for us please let Mrs. Paras know vis note or email. Thank you in advance!
Homework:
Please be sure to check your child's Daily Folder each night, even on Fridays. Most important papers are sent home through the Daily Folder. Please check over your child's homework nightly for neatness and accuracy. Please remember to keep all homework packets in your child's Daily Folder all week and the Homework Notebook in his/her backpack so Mrs. Paras can check it. ***Lastly, please be sure your child brings his/her folder to school every day.
